Pierre Bastien (born 1953 in Paris) is a French musician, composer, and experimental musical instrument builder. Most of his instruments are mechanical contraptions that produce sound amplified with small microphones and piezo pickups. He also plays trumpet and violin.
This is Pierre Bastien’s solo set as a tribute to “Lowlands” (a Belgian music distribution house) and his founder Tom De Weerdt who died in 2014.
